This is the 12th season of Bali Standard Retreat by Wacky Jacky’s Textiles with over 1000 people joining her to date.
Stay with a group of like-minded quilters in a beachside resort in the beautiful rural seaside village of Candidasa.
Candidasa is situated in the quiet, rural sector on the north-east coast of Bali where the locals are extremely friendly and helpful and it’s also the location of the Wacky Jacky’s Bali Batik Store.
Jacky (your host and travelling companion) is a seasoned traveller and has been going to Bali for over 30 years. She has a wealth of knowledge on Bali customs, traditions and loves nothing more than showing off the best of this majestic island.
Jacky has been a quilter for over 20 years and a quilting instructor for over 10 years. She has combined her passion for Bali with her endless passion for quilting and textiles to bring you these retreats.
She has put together a package that is flexible enough to cater to all your needs, and selected the most amazing experiences over her last 30 years visiting Bali and packaged them up so you will get to make the most out of your adventure.

Triple Share AU$1,890 (2 ladies must share King Bed + 1 single)
Timing indicates an approximate of activities rather than actual ones.
What’s included?

Initial installment: This is your deposit required to secure your position on the retreat - $500.
Second installment: Due 6 months prior to your retreat – $1000.
Final installment: Due 3 month prior to your retreat – Balance.

Our beautiful local staff will gladly cut your fabrics for you, and help take care of you whilst you enjoy the better things in life.
Plenty of good quality local restaurants, shops and jewellery stores to browse through – avoiding all the duds.

Flights to and from Bali is not included.
Please be aware that the first day of your retreat and the last day of your retreat are travel days. For instance, the first day of this retreat, 20 May 2024 is the the day you’re flying in and 29 May 2024 is the day you’re flying out.
Please aim to land in Bali early afternoon on your first day, and exit Bali in the early evening / late night on the last day.
If your flight is out of these times, an AUD$45 (per car) transfer fee is applicable.
If you wish to fly in earlier we will pick you up from the airport on your arrival and bring you to the hotel in Candidasa (and book extra nights for you – at your cost). This service is an additional AUD$45 per car. We can also pick you up on the first day from a hotel that you have booked yourself (within Kuta, Legian, or Sanur within the above times) – as we will be on the way to the airport, and can stop in and pick you up.
